The Singing Dictionary
Audio clips from online dictionaries sing the hits of yesterday and today. The fun of karaoke meets the word power of the dictionary. This site features parodies of popular songs using karaoke-style backing music with vocals provided by audio pronunciation samples from online dictionaries. All of these songs are available for download in MP3 format. A singing dictionary that covers everything from Fred Astaire to Dr. Dre.

Christmas Advent Calendar / Interactive Screensaver
Enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas with Advent, a General MIDI Advent Calendar. Advent plays a different Christmas carol and displays a different Gospel verse when you click on the appropriate day on the Advent screen. For Bible verses, you can choose from eleven different versions in six languages: Dutch, English, French, German, Norwegian, and Spanish.

The Advent screen features a beautiful picture of a pristine winter scene (though you can change this to whatever picture you want). Your mouse cursor reveals dates as you move it around the screen. A left-hand mouse click will start the carol and display the verse; a right-hand mouse click will display the program's setup options. Windows 98 and Windows 95 users can also run Advent in a "kiosk" mode. And finally, all users can set Advent as their interactive screensaver--you can 'protect' your system while spreading Advent's positive message and uplifting music.

Advent lets you play all forty-seven carols in random order. In addition, you can change the songs' tempos and keys to suit your taste and/or match your vocal range. Advent will be a pleasant addition to your Christmas festivities.

Karaoke-to-Text-with-Chords
Program facilitates (and sometimes automates) process of extraction of the texts of songs from karaoke files, and determine chords for them. Except karaoke files (*.kar), the program processes usual MIDI files (*.mid) too. In the second case you get only chords, without text (with rare exception). The truncated version is distributed absolutely free-of-charge, without any time restrictions of use - load and use! The full version is available after registration.
